so i'm sitting here in a cool little Seattle bar drinking some Mack & Jacks waiting for Groundhog Day to start (the 7 show was sold out so 930 it will be). sitting at a little table and enjoying the conversation going on around me. A 2 guy 2 girl table with one of the girls talking of moving to Austin because it's sunnier and people smile and 'get her' there, to the large table of people behind speaking random chinese to each other (they are white 20 somethings) while having some kind of reunion/house warming party. and although i am sitting alone i feel so surrounded. i enjoy these times and even imagine or project what our little circle of friends would be discussing in similar situations. this was a good night to take off :)
