I don't know why but I have a fascination about some of the abandoned and broken down houses out here. This one sits up on a hill near the bike path. With a great view of Mt. Rainier.

I wonder what happened to the owners? Did they run into financial problems? When did they leave?

This is a little gate that guards the entrance to what use to be the driveway. There a lot of over growth and land pushed everywhere pretty much covering everything. Makes me wonder if there was a landslide or some other event that made the house unstable.
